At Wildflower, we find the utmost importance in sourcing quality ingredients and ensuring the fair and ethical treatment of all living things through the supply chain. Every ingredient that we use is organic and fair trade certified and local when possible. Our packaging is also made from recycled and eco friendly materials.

Creator/owner Ellyn has a degree in psychology from Texas A&M turned to a different career, making caramels, after the births of her two children.

In December of 2012, I made my first batch of apple cider caramels.  From there, I have modified and developed my own recipes, learned by trial and error about the chemistry of candy making and have sadly scrapped many batches in order to find the perfect ratios of ingredients.

Today, my 3 year old dauhgter helps to count caramels and teaches me to experience beauty in every moment, my son provides constant commentary and a precious face and my husband often helps to be the face of Wildflower when my sometimes introverted side gets the best of me.  As a family we also set up at a few local farmers markets.
