Place Category: Foods
River City Produce is a full-time fresh fruit and vegetable distributor. We are comprised of hard workers who embrace strong family values. We value honesty and we are deeply committed to our employees, customers and suppliers.
River City Produce is located in the heart of San Antonio Texas and is independently owned. We have served customers throughout Texas and the Southwest for over 30 years. Our business trades with many wholesalers, retailers, restaurants, food service companies and processors. Friendly, personal service is our standard.
We proudly offer supply chain solutions including sourcing, transportation, storage, and shipper services. Additionally, we provide value added repacking of fruits and vegetables including tomatoes, onions and cabbage in our very own River Magic brand or your own custom label.
River City Produce Company was formed in 1981. However, our operation’s roots in the San Antonio wholesale fruit and vegetable industry date back to the 1940’s.
When the late Patricio M. Gonzalez founded our company he exemplified honesty and integrity in his business. Everyday, we strive to exceed those examples set forth by him.
Today, we are proud that we remain a family owned business. John, Paul, Michael “Nando” Gonzalez and Gina Gonzalez-Inglett continue to operate the company in the footsteps of their father. Third generation family employees include Philip Gonzalez, Paul Gonzalez Jr., Annalisa Norred, Nicole Golden and Matthew Gonzalez.
