Victrola Design is a textile-based homewares and accessories line known for its whimsical detailed illustrations of flora an fauna. The company was founded in Austin, Texas in 2004 by English born artist, Victoria Corbett.
The line is deeply rooted in Victoria’s everyday observations of the natural world and the beauty surrounding her. Often the designs are inspired by repetition, uniformity and the existing patterns found in nature. The collection features original, hand-drawn illustrations. Each color is thoughtfully chosen and mixed by hand, and then screen printed onto fabric in Victoria’s East Austin studio.
The products’ minimal and modern approach to classic interior design was created to easily blend into any living area. With their nature-inspired themes and unifying color pallets, the products work beautifully together yet make a bold statement on their own.
Although Victoria has been drawing and making art since childhood, she formally trained at London University in 3D product design. Her art has been featured on Design Sponge and The Austin American Statesman, and she has been commissioned by the Four Seasons Austin and several private clients to provide fine art for their collections. When not creating art, she spends her time with her private chef and drummer husband, Adam, and their two ridiculously cute cats, Max and Milo.
