The goal of Redbud Gallery is to show fine art with a secondary emphasis on sales. Artists have ranged from masters to beginners.The Gallery shows prints, sculptures, ceramics, photos, drawings, paintings, and installations from local, national, and international artists.
Redbud Gallery is one of the smallest galleries in Texas at 400 sq. ft. Redbud Fine Arts (founded 1999) is located in the Houston Heights adjacent to Sharon Kopriva’s Studio.
Artists have ranged from masters to first timers. The gallery shows all media; including prints, sculpture, ceramics, photos, drawings, glass, paintings, and installations on a local, national and international basis.
Well-known artists such as Lucas Johnson, Felicien Rops, Angelbert Metoyer, Al Souza, John Biggers, and many others have had over 200 solo exhibitions during Redbud’s long history. The gallery specializes in works on paper by old and modern masters from Durer, Rembrandt, Ruscha, Man Ray, Rauschenberg, and numerous German Expressionists and Mexican masters.
